Re-decorating our bedroom--websites for ideas?

I looked at hgtv already, home and garden, better homes

any other good sites to get ideas...we have a large master bedroom and we kept what the sellers already had and we're SICK of the purple and green!

Depends on your taste. Maybe look on the Potter Barn website, google an image of a certain colored bedroom you are looking for, maybe check out Ballard Design website, Restoration Hardware site, Crate and Barrel. All depends on your style.

Well we can change the carpet in there, possibly do hardwood etc so that is kind of freeing...

but the only thing we can't change is the bed...its a dark wood and I'm thinking some kind of blue.

I like modern, but serene

I should add, we have a fireplace in our bedroom too (so obviously that cannot be changed either)

What color is the fireplace? Do you have any pics?

Here's a light blue room with light fireplace and wood floor. I know your bed is dark but maybe lighten up the rest of the room with a color like this ?

That is pretty...

we'll have to go darker...the fireplace is black, its one of those gas ones, so there's a switch. I'm not a huge fan of it, or the color.

I think I'll have to stay with a bit darker colors...we have two black dogs
