re: taking pics...what to lean DS up against?

Since he can't sit up on his own, can anyone suggest how to prop him up for christmas pics? I have an outfit ... I wanted to try this before going to a KK.

I was thinking of just laying him in his bouncy seat w/a white sheet covering it and the surrounding floor? ANy suggestions? TIA!

You can use his bouncy seat or his carseat and put a nice white blanket over it, or any color blanket you want to use.

When I took Taylor to get her pics done, we went to kmart and they actually had me hold her and they draped the backgrounds over me. You will need 2 people to try it, but they really came out better than her leaning on something

I'd actually try taking them with him on his belly, perhaps with a draped bobby in front of him... if he is pushing up at all that makes for cute photos. If he can't sit up he is likely to look droppy propped up.

I've done the boppy with a blanket, corner of the couch, bouncy seat with blanket, even my hands, draped with something. They all come out pretty good.

Another idea, related to lying down, is to have them stomach down on the boppy. That forces their chest and head up more, and gives you a little more leeway with the camera angle.

I used the boppy and either used it to prop him up or put him on his stomach. I also used the couch and covered the back of it with a blanket or somethingChat Icon

Everyone mentioned really good ideas:

Boppy
Tummy
Bumbo

And we used to drap a sheet over DH's lap and wedge DS inbetween his legs and feet for support.
