Real downer... so don't read if you are not up for it...
Do you ever think you will never get a positive BFP? I can't even imagine it happening at this point...

It took me almost four years...but I did it. I was on the verge of giving up....but I didn't and now I'm PG.
I wouldn't say just keep going, but I do say make the choice that's right for you. If you don't think you can do it anymore - take a break and see how you feel in a few months. If you are happier then don't go back to trying. If you still feel the loss, start trying again.
This is a brutal battle sometimes and it's an emotional rollercoaster. Not everyone can deal with it...so do what is right for you in your heart.

Re: Real downer... so don't read if you are not up for it...
I think if I took this poll every day, I'd have a different answer. I have RE appointment today (CD3) after three failed clomid/IUIs so this morning I'm an "I'm not sure". This weekend it woulda been a NO...and I'm sure at some point this cycle it will be an absolutely (otherwise why friggin do this). I think that's what's the worst about IF...the constant rollercoaster of emotions. You go from being so positive one day and then you wake up, AF is friggin here and BAM, you're so low all you want to do is stay in bed and cry

Re: Real downer... so don't read if you are not up for it...
Believe me, I've felt that. After getting pregnant relatively easily with my son, then losing him, I thought I'd have no issue. Well, here I am, 2.5 years later, 3 miscarriages later, still trying to hang on. I give up and start over again every single day. It really is an emotional rollercoaster, and certainly not for the faint of heart. But I can say that for me, its so difficult to give up the dream. The months go by, and I get older and older, and grow more tired and scared.
But then I look at my niece and nephews and babies on the street. I can't imagine my life without having a child. So I just keep going. But, of course, its a personal decision, and I hope its not one you'll need to soon make

For me, I have had two miscarriages and have issues relative to that and not sure what is going to be, so Know where you are coming from. With time going by, it is so hard. I feel for each and every one of you.

It's been 12 cycles for me and I just got my period again. I know people have been going at this a lot longer but it has felt like an eternity with a lot emotional days. However I have never given up hope that we will get our BFP!

Re: Real downer... so don't read if you are not up for it...
my emotions change on a daily basis in regards to our IF issues. Sometimes multiple times a day. I've been generally feeling good lately as we're on a forced break, and it's nice to not live my life in 2 week intervals. But this morning on the way to work, I started to cry and asking myself can I really do this, am I strong enough to get myself through it?

Re: Real downer... so don't read if you are not up for it...
I just got a BFN today after my 1st IUI. I am moving onto IVF because I believe there is a tubal issue(only have one and think teh other is blocked) My insurance does not cover it so we are taking $$ out of my 401K to do it. Even though today is pretty low for me, I do think I will have my baby. If I don't keep my faith then I will just drive myself crazy.

I have to admit, I have days when I think it will never happen. That after so many disappointments, I can't imagine ever getting a BFP. But most of the time, I think to myself that it will happen someday, and it will be the greatest day ever. I just have to take each day (or every two weeks) at a time.

Thank you ladies for sharing your feelings. I am in the last few days of the TWW and will be starting IVF with my next cycle. Sometimes I am feeling really positive and other times I really cannot imagine seeing a positive HPT.
Talking a deep breath and keep going....

I have to believe that I will..have to have faith & pray for it. The girls on here (such as Gerty for ex.) are an inspiration to me. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be a parent. I can't imagine my life not being a mom...I know it will happen. You HAVE to stay positive.....and believe!!!!
