Real Estate Agent?

We have to buy and sell..

My first concern is selling. How did you pick who was going to be your real estate agent?

And who was it? Or what company did they work for?

Re: Real Estate Agent?

We are doing the same thing right now, we contacted agents based on listings we liked. If we clicked with an agent we continued to work with them, and then we went with whoever gave us the best deal. Some agents were willing to list our house on MLS for 3% if we also bought our new house through them. The best agent I have dealt with so far was Horizion Realty the service has been great with them, because it is 2 brother who just started out on their own. If you want their info let me know.

Re: Real Estate Agent?

we sold on our own (FSBO) and I'd do it again! We knew our place would basically sell itself and we had 2 great offers within 24 hours, a total of 7 offers after our open house later that week. We worked with the buyers to negotiate the price, picked our best offer, and took it from there. For us, it was the best option.

Re: Real Estate Agent?

A good friend of ours is a real estate broker, so we knew to speak with him, but after we sat down & talked to him we were totally convinced that he would get us the house we wanted. He is very honest, and was very candid with us about the properties we were looking at. Since we signed him as a buyer broker, he was able to show us any house and still act on our behalf in any deal.

He works for ReMax Hearthstone
