Realization is starting to set in...
I go back to work in 2 1/2 weeks. I don't know how i am going to leave my little girl. Maybe if family was watching her i wouldn't feel as bad but knowing that she will be with a stranger is breaking my heart...even though she was highly recommended by a bunch of friends. Everytime she smiles at me I get so upset because I know that in just 2 1/2 short weeks she isn't going to have me anymore.....she will actually be spending more time with the sitter than me Ehhh...I hope it gets easier!

Re: Realization is starting to set in...
yuck! The start of work stinks, I go back at the end of January and I am already hating the thought (although some adult interaction will be nice). The first few days are tough but once you get into a schedule you kind of feel empowered knowing you are a career woman and have a beautiful baby at home. I'm sure Ava will be fine, but I know that doesn't make you feel any better. I'll be thinking about you!

I can't imagine what you are going through. I remember when DH was insisting that I had to go back to work and the thought made me so Enjoy every minute you have. I have many friends who went back to work and they all said the days leading up to and the first day back are the hardest.

I know exactly what your going through I was home for three monthsbefore I went back to work and the day I did I didn't want to leave the house. I called my FH every hour on the hour and I couldn't wait to get home it did get easier as the days went by and it felt good that when I came home when I would pick up my daughter to say hello she would smile. As they get older the joy and excitment when you come home feels so good marissa is now 14 months and when she hears the door close she comes running yelling mom mom and hugs my legs its the greatest ffeeling in the world.
I know its very hard to leave

I feel your pain I stopped by our daycare yesterday to go over a few things and I actually started crying there and I'm not going back to work for about 4 or 6 weeks! Just the thought of those women holding Alex all day isntead of me If I'm that torn up now I have no idea how I'm going to do it when the time comes!
