Really cute idea for gift giving for kids
We had my DD's birthday this weekend and she received 2 gifts that were given in the resuable shopping bags instead of a paper gift bag. The were toys R us bags that cost $1 vs the paper ones that cost 3, 4, 5 dollars each. One was pink with an elephant and the other was blue with circus animals. So cute, cheaper and reusable! I love this idea so I wanted to share it. Obviously you can do it with any gift for adults too but I loved that you can get kids bags for the kids.

What a great idea!
I have to be honest here... I was at Toys R Us last week and saw the reusable shopping bags by the check out counter and was a little confused as to who would buy those there (as opposed to the super market).  I am obviously not thinking as "green" as I should be!

Yes - I got quite a few baby shower gifts in those bags from Babies R Us! I loved them!!! :)

It is such a cute idea ~ I picked up a couple from BRU for my SIL baby's shower...they had the reusable bags by the checkout ~ Thought it was such a great idea.

Wow...I didnt know they had them.
Although I always save my gift bags and re-use them. $1 is cheaper than the $5 I usually spend on them.

Awesome idea! I've been using and giving reusable bags for at least a year or two.
I just bought a bunch of OBOEbags at a site called www.onebagoneearth.com and I love em!
Lots of different patterns and designs, and they're huge! I've owned them all (I'm kinda obsessed) and these are the best by far!
Not as expensive as some others and better quality in my opinion.

love this idea though.....
I reuse gift bags also. I figure that it's not like regifting at all. In fact, I take the smaller bags as lunch bags for myself. As for the shopping bags, I did that once when I realized that the bag would be just the size I needed. Since then I have thought it was a great idea and I will do it again.
