yes but no. I'm not sure that it would be considered DHA specifically b/c my understanding is that DHA is the substance they added to the formula in order to provide a similar benefit to what the baby gets from BM. So I think DHA is a lab creation. Although I could be wrong. does that make sense?

DHA is crucial to the optimal development of the brain in infancy and childhood. Breast milk boosts the brain growth because it contains lots of DHA - provided that the mother herself eats things rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
