Really DUMB baby shower Question-
what should I buy for the wishing well?
I have never been to a shower with one before

I have never been to a baby shower at all but if it is anything like a bridal shower, just get "token" type items like creams and ointments or even maybe rattles? Anything under $10 would qualify as a wishing well type of gift

I've never been to a baby shower that had a wishing well but I'd assume it was for little stuff like diaper cream, lotion, shampoo, pacifier.......I think a book would be a great idea though

No clue either since I didn't have one at mine.
Maybe things like antibacterial hand gel for the purse, a small little photo album so the new mom can carry pics around in her bag, diapers and wipes always welcome, board books, sing-a-long CD's, etc.

Wipes are good. The travel kind in the hard plastic case that go into the diaper bag are great. Any kind of medicine- tylenol, saline nasal spray, etc. You can put in a pacifier or a bottle or a hooded towel. Those disposable washclothes are great! I use them all of the time. Johnsons and Johnsons has a set of travel items that is cute. It's lotion, soap, powder, etc. that all fit nicely into the diaper bag.

Batteries!!!!! People put them and mine and it was soooo helpful. Everything you need for a baby or child seems to need batteries.

Oooooooh, Batteries is a GOOD one. Batteries in all shapes and sizes! You go thru so many as a parent, at all ages!
Normally I'd say little toys, books, ointments, stuff like that. Even bibs, socks, etc.

Batteries. Every stupid toy needs batteries. I got a 24 pack of AAs, an 18 pack of Cs and a few 9 volts. It was the best!
