Really good deal on a Nikon D40 with two lenses
I know how popular these cameras are around here, so I thought I should share a link to the sale on Amazon - Nikon D40 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm zoom lens. This is about $100 less than the usual price, so a great sale!

you should still be able to get it through Ritz Camera...they were the seller on Amazon and this is a week-long sale item for them. I got it for DH as a "new daddy" present (with 2 months to go)!

also, I remember seeing Barb saying something about getting the filter to protect the lens? Does this sound right?

Once you sign up for ebates you go to their web site first when you are planning to shop online. Do a search on ebates for the store you want and then click the link to that store on the ebates site. They will then track your order and a few days later the percent off will show up in your ebates account. Once every few months ebates will send you a check for all of your purchases. I've been doing it for years and its added up to a lot of money -- and you can still use coupons on the sites at the same time so there is no reason not to! This link to ebates will get you $10 just for signing up (its usually $5).

Thanks.....I think I messed up. I ordered it already from Ritz. Is it to late to apply the ebates?
