I've gone with the peds schedule...DD didn't have her MMR until she was 15 months...some do it earlier I think.

Thanks ladies! I really appreciate the responses! All this will help make my decision.
Oh and, I wanted to say I hear you all who say you trust your ped and I do trust my ped. The thing is, when it comes to vaccines I think parents need to do their own research and make decisions based on their own children. Peds are most often not educated on the specifics of the different vaccines but more on the diseases. Some peds do make it their business to learn but others do not - this was in Dr. Sears book and I have witnessed it first hand. Also, the peds and the AAP and the WHO and the CDC they are all concerned about the population on the whole - obviously if parents start declining vaccinations in mass it would be horrible - I find that the fact that a small number of children will have horrible reactions to these shots - sometimes life altering is not factored into the decision THUS - if your child is part of that small number- you need to worry about him or her KWIM.
