really random question regarding traveling with an infant

So, we're looking to go to the caribbean in a few months...now normally in the past when we've gone we've usually gotten a shuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel in the caribbean....What do I do with DD,we usually don't rent a car if we stay in an all inclusive so we won't be bringing a car seat, so what do you do with DC on a bus/shuttle that takes u to the hotel do you just hold them????

We did it when DS was 8 months old. We were cruising, so there was no way we were bringing the infant seat just for a shuttle ride. My dad and DH dropped us at the airport on the way there, then when we got to Ft Lauderdale we took a shuttle to the hotel, then the next morning to the ship. My dad or Chris held him.

It was fine.

Now that I think about it, we did it on a few tours in Italy. We just held him on our laps.

thanks, not so sure how long the shuttle ride is, but I think I recall ppl holding babies on their laps when we've gone before...
