Really upset!

So last night I get home ready to BD. I got my first peak and smiley face yesterday and it's CD14 for me, perfect right?? Well DH wasn't up for it, and I completely lost it on him....he is ALWAYS up for it when he wants it, and now all of the sudden he was exhausted. We have been BDing a lot, and BD'd the night before (monday) as well as Sunday, and Friday, and plan on BDing tonight also. But I can't help but feel last night was the perfect night and now we missed our chance completely for this month!!!!
I'm really upset with him and told him he was selfish and it blew up into a big fight, we're fine now, but I am still really upset about thinking that we totally missed our chance for this month. I also got a peak reading today as well...but I just can't help feeling this way...

Don't let the TTC process impact on your relationship with DH, it's very stressful by itself. If you missed this month, next month will be here before you know it. GL.

Well make up sex is the best sex Seriously I can totally understand what you're saying and would be very disappointed with DH too. At the same time I guess when there is a level of pressure they just don't want to deal with it. I think of how many times in the course of my relationship with DH I played the "I'm tired" card ...I couldn't win an arguement like this with him.

TTC is very stressful but don't start a fight bc one of you doesn't feel like bding. I know easier said then done, but sometimes you can't force things. Since you got your + yesterday, BD tonight!!!

Pickles, My DH pulled the same thing last night....My first sign of EWCM and i was all excited but b/c he helped me put up and decorate the tree, he pulled out the I'm tired" card too and we didnt BD!!!

I was mad!!!!

I can relate. The same thing happened to me last month. DH came to bed to late and was tired. I did not want to hear the word tired and got so angry.
TTC can be so stressful.. BD tonight and you should be good.

Thanks ladies...I can't help but feel that there is now no point in even BDing tonight as I feel we missed our chance for this month....He was with me in the bathroom when I got my second peak today and was like see, we didn't miss anything..
My DH says the same thing let's not put pressure on ourselves and make it affect our relationship, but I can't help it. I'm very much a type A personality and need to be able to control things, so when things like this which are in somewhat in my control and somewhat in my body's and fate, it's hard on me, and I like to do anything and everything possible that I can do to say we did everything we could..now let nature take its course and see what happens...

try not to stress it & don't fight with DH ~ even if you started to ovulate yesterday the day after you can still have a chance... makeup and BD tonight!

Good Luck tonight, DH and I had a similar fight last weekend. But I know there are many times where I am the one who is too tired, but I also know I am not ovulating. But since I expect him to respect me, I know I should respect him when he's tired too. Doesn't mean I don't get mad/sad.

I too need to be in control of things, being I have no control over this, I am trying to take every precaution neccessary, no saliva, no lube, OPK's, check CM, keep my legs up, take my vitamins. NAture is taking her sweet time, doesn't she know I am not a patient person.

Hope tonight is THE night for you and DH!

we've all been there. Its tough. Sometimes DH was too tired and I felt like we missed our window too. Maybe you didn't. You never know. GL

I've been going through this with DH too and I feel he doesnt understand how there is a small window of opportunity. I was speaking to a friend about this who went through a lot of IF issues and she advised me not to even tell DH when I am a peak fertility or anything like that - make it more spontaneous - otherwise they will feel too pressured and then will play the tired cards.

I can totally relate...DH and I BD 2 days before and the day of my +OPK, then the second day of the +OPK [when you are supposedly the MOST fertile] we didn't BD! We both fell asleep and then when we woke during the night and tried...it wasn't happening-!! I was so upset because I KNEW that I was about to O and that would have been the perfect time!! I hear ya sweetie but all is not lost. BD tonight and tomorrow and I bet you will be fine!!

BTDT.. ISN't that an awesome fight.. Ughhhhhhh... Last night we missed it because my darn IBS acted up.. So we did it this morning and then we will again on Friday. I am sticking to every other day this month.

I know that mustve been frustrating for u but remember he's what I like to call a "dumb boy" see watch "dumb GIRL" nope DOESNT have the same ring to it no matter what u tell him or explain he will NEVER really get the "window" that is ovulation they are BOYSSSS sooooooo as much as u want to be made at him bc u think he messed it up for u guys this month 1.) thats not necessarily true and 2.) have fun with the beding opportunites and try ur best not to stress, u have next month and it will be here before u know it

THen Tuesday it just was not happening I actually got really mad and upset with DH and I selfishly made him feel really bad. Today I feel so guilty and like such a bad wifey. Anywho- we made up today and think we both just need a break from bding. We bedded everyday on our HM with no problems, but it seems like it is a job when the pressure is on. I hope I did not miss my window of opportunity. Oh-and the worst is, the day with the positive OPK we bedded, but with me on top-then I read how that is the worst position-ahhhhhh!
