Reason for leaving
Right now I'm working at a temp job that I despise. Mgmt is just outright rude and when they speak to you its like they are degrading. I found the position on my own, so its not like I can complain to the staffing agency.
I'm starting to interview with other companies and just trying to figure out the correct thing to say as to why I am looking again.
Do I tell them that the environment is just not what I was looking for and then provide examples when asked? Do I use it as I'm looking for something a little more permanent, even tho the original time frame of my current job is not yet up? I know its frowned upon to bad mouth a past/current employer but honestly there is nothing good to say.
I just cant see myself being in the same position in a month from now.
TIA!

Re: Reason for leaving
I would try not to focus on the negatives of your job- definitely say that you are looking for a more permanent position
good luck with your interviews!

Re: Reason for leaving
don't mention the negatives. Just say you want permanent. They will read into it that you are at least partially to blame.....no reason to even go there, everyone understands that people in temp jobs usually want full time, perm positions.

Re: Reason for leaving
Thanks for the advice..I had the final interview today and told them I was looking for something more permanent.
They called me back at the end of the day to offer the position!
