Rec you toddler chair for eating and sitting at the table?
At almost 2 my son still using a highchair that he is constantly standing up in. I need to get him a chair that he can sit at the table with but also can be pulled away from the table if I want to feed him. Somethign that he can climb in and out of too. I woudl prefer wood but not sure what to shop around for?

I'm thinking I need this too, I was telling DH this last night. and well, he suggested, just sit him at the table in a normal chair. So we did, and he ate a little, and he left.
Don't know it was a fluke, but maybe just use a regular chair?
Can your 2 year old climb in and out of dinning room chairs?

We used a regular chair and added a cushee booster to it. It's lightweight and super easy to clean. It suction cups to the chair so that it doesn't shift. And it's easy to take with us places if we are going out somewhere where DD will need a boost. I'd say that we probably used it between 2.5 and 4 years of age the most. Image Attachment(s):

We've never had a high chair. Alexa has been in a Tripp Trapp chair since she was 6 mos old. Love this chair, still looks brand new. Does everything you want and we got it in mahogany to match our dining room!

SHe's been climbing in and buckeling herself since she was 18 months old. LOOOOVE this chair.

We have this for our DD and I LOOOOOOOOVE it!!! It makes her the perfect height for the table and she can get in and out easily. We started using it a little while after she turned 2.

Tripp Trapp Chair
We got the Keekaroo high chair (similar design to the Tripp Trapp). It was MUCH cheaper and we love it!

ETA: This other difference between them is the Keekaroo comes with a tray if you want to use it as a high chair.

Thanks for all of the recs. I have a FP booster at my moms house and like it but will be leaving it there. I'm loving that cushion bc it looks simple and will de-clutter.
I also love those wood chairs but def do not want to invest too much. Also, are they comfy? From an outsider they look kind of stiff and "shallow" but obviously I ahve not tried it. Sometimes my son will sit in the hightchair for an hour (eat, color, watch tv ect) Are those days going to be over for me when the highchair is gone lol!!

I also recommend the FP one, we no longer use the tray part since DS wants to eat right at the table with us and he insists on climbing in and out himself, he's turning 3, we've been using this ever since he outgrew (climbing out)the high chair.
