Re: rec your ped in the garden city area
I dont know if they accept GHI, but I love Nassau Pediatrics (516-481-3660) on dogwood avenue. Dr.Camillery is my favorite! There are 4 doctors and have hours saturday and sunday for emergencies. There is only one area for sick and well children however. But if u have a newborn, u have the first appointment in the mornng and u go right into a room.

Re: rec your ped in the garden city area
I use Garden City Pediatrics on Stewart Ave. My fave thing about them is they are very good about separate sick/well spaces-- different waiting rooms, different examining rooms, etc. For a germophobe like me this is a godsend.

We use them as well. I am pretty sure they take GHI because we had it at a point and they took it.

Re: rec your ped in the garden city area
Love my ped - he is amazing.
Arnie Chusid. He is in Mineola on Hillside Avenue. 516.742.4171
It's his own practice, no other doctors. He works 24/7. I love that he knows everything about my children and the one on one care.

Too funny we all go there.
I've been bringing my kids there for 8 years!
LOVE Dr. Camillery. Dr. Kuncewitch is good too...he really "knows his stuff". The Dr. K and Dr. B I could sooooo do without.
Just...be prepared to wait there. Their ability to keep appointment times SUCK and you have to pay $10 every time you request your child's immunization records (for school) which is so annoying.
