Rec your stick vacuum

I'm tired of having to clean up after my swivel sweeper. Chat Icon

I need a stick vacuum to get all the crumbs my (almost) 1 year old leaves after mealtime on my hardwood floors.

Any recs? TIA!

I am thinking of this one:

Bissell® Versus™ Cordless Bare Floor Vacuum

or

Shark VX3 Cordless Floor and Carpet Sweeper

Re: Rec your stick vacuum

I use my stick vacuum for cleaning up all my stray hairs that fall out of my head and random cleanups in the kitchen/hallway. So I knew I didn't want anything with bristles. I had the shark about 3 times. My hair would constantly get caught around the bristles.

I have the Bissell. My mom has the dirt devil that is from Target...so much better and more powerful.

Good point about the bristles. That's one thing I can't stand about the swivel sweeper - 4 sets of bristles that I have to clean after each use.

Does the dirt devil get up the hair?

I have the dirt devil broom vac and I love it. As for picking up hair, it does get some of it up, but a lot does stick to the bristles.
