Recc your blocks good for 16 mo plus...

DS is 14.5 mos and i have the little melissa and doug blocks but they seem to small for him to stack well - any suggestions?

We have the same blocks and DD loves them (16.5 months), sorry I don't have any other suggestions.

Well, now that I think about it, I stack each one, say the number, and then she waits with such anticipation so she can knock them down and try to say "timber"...so she doesn't do too much actual stacking on her own Chat Icon

That is pretty much how it goes here Chat Icon But, he also has bigger blocks that he can stack so i know its the size right now - however, the blocks he has you have to match the shapes to make them fit perfectly and that appears to be a little too advanced for him b/c i see him getting frustrated when he stacks them that they are not fitting together...

We have Mega Blocks that are pretty good for stacking and just started with the smaller duplo (like big legos) when she is playing with us only (they're a bit small for my liking)
