I love my Krups. It has a timer & I love waking up to a pot of fresh brewed coffee.

Re: Rec'd your coffee maker!
I just picked up a Kalorik (a brand from Belgium) about a month ago. I loved the design and the coffee is pretty good too! So far, so good.
Here is the model I selected.

Re: Rec'd your coffee maker!
coffee snob here
If you ever went to central europe (germany, austria, hungary...), that is the type of coffee we prefer. not as strong as espresso, but stronger than drip... and very smooth. It requires a low pressure steam coffee maker.
If you don't mind a little extra work (coffee ground 1/2 way between espresso and drip size, buying filters on amazon once and a while), the krups moka brew is well worth the effort. our coffee is WONDERFUL.
The machine is only available on a few websites.... It's still on amazon.
HTH!

we have this cuisinart grind & brew and love it!
it's so easy to use! You just put the coffee beans in & fill with water. You can program it to start at a certain time, or you can just press "on" and there it goes! You can also take a cup before the whole thing is finished brewing, which I love! And it stays hot in the carafe for a pretty long time!
