Recently back to work and can't concentrate at alll!

I am a new 2 under 2 mommy and went back to work after the holidays after a 4 month mat leave.

I cannot concentrate at work AT ALL. And not because I am thinking about my kids (of course I am, but I am not overly worried, didn't have an exceptionally hard time coming back, etc). I am not that tired either... I just can't THINK for some reason.

I spent all day working on a complicated excel spreadsheet only to realize I overlooked something very minor. I feel like I can't even contribute in meetings... I don't remember feeling like this after my 1st... Can anyone relate? How long did it last?

My boss is riding our dept hard to get things done, and me feeling like this is not helping at ALL.

You need to stop being so hard on yourself.. It takes time to get back into it..

this is how i was at work and i only have 1 kid. The commuting 4 hrs a day was doing it to me more than worrying about DS. I was so tired and living in a fog that i was not very productive at work most days.

I call it mommy brain. Whether you realize it or not you have a thousand things going through your head related to your kids, I know I do. I find the first few months after giving birth, even dueling pregnancy, my brain didn't function the same

I don't know if this helps or hinders you but my 2nd child is 14.5 months and I still can't focus at work
It's a lot on your plate and your entitled to time to get back in the groove of things

I can't focus either I have been back since the first week in November, I hope that it gets better soon!
