Re: recipe ideas needed-
beef stew. It's a cut of meat that needs a long cooking time.

Re: recipe ideas needed-
If you are talking about CUBE steaks (looks like a steak that's been beaten sliced thin and beaten with a tenderizing mallet) I'd make steak sandwiches. You can season them with salt, pepper and a little granulated garlic. Then slice them on a bias and quick saute OR broil whole. Put the meat on hard rolls and top with cheese and pop them in the oven to toast the bread/melt the cheese. Top with onions or onions and mushrooms that have been sliced and sauteed in butter. Add a little worcestershire or steak sauce if you like - or just serve plain.
I'd serve them with roasted potato wedges and a green salad.
If you are talking about pieces of chuck cut into cubes I'd go with the beef stew.

Re: recipe ideas needed-
wanna go authentic hungarian?
beef paprikas
one onion diced oil 1 lb beef cubes 4 peppers-in long thin slices 1/4 cup sweet paprika hot paprika to taste 1 tomato-diced salt 4 oz sour cream mixed with 1T flour ideally a pot with heavy lid (pref cast iron)
sautee onion on med heat until golden (do not let it burn!) take pot off of heat, add paprikas and a 1/2 cup of water.... stir... return to heat. Add beef cubes and cover... pick up lid periodically and stir (from now on, the lid should stay on, and there should always be liquid in the pan... if not, add water!). When meat is 1/2 cooked through, add peppers and stir/cover. Periodically stir. Add tomato and salt.
once meat is soft (about an hour to 90 min), adjust salt and stir in sourcream/flour. Serve with noodles
