Recommend a foundation

I have been an avid fan of Laura Mercier and Stila tinted foundation.

HOWEVER, its been over 3 yrs of using these products and i think its time to move on. Plus w/ this pregnancy my skin is looking not so hot and i need something w/ alittle more coverage

So.... any recs?

Re: Recommend a foundation

I used Clinique for years and then decided I needed a change........

I currently use (and LOVE) Makeup Forever- They sell it at Sephora. I use a liquid foundation from them called Matte Velvet (I have oily skin). It's oil free.

I don't find it keeps my skin less oily (I don't think that's possible!!!!) but gives me a very flawless finish and it hasn't broken me out! I've been using it almost 6 months.

I was a huge Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer fan until I found Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. The finish is amazing and I love the way it goes on and feels on my skin. It was featured in InStyle a few months back as one of the top foundations. The price tag is a little steep but worth it IMO!

I too have not been so lucky with my skin during this pregnancy. Friday afternoon i was in Bloomingdales looking for makeup and I found an amazing foundation. It provides good coverage for my acne and red spots (I did have to use concealer over those spots though), but this foundation left my skin flawless and lasted for hours. I fell asleep with it on and it did not break me out and my skin still looked good in the morning. Its Prescriptives liquid all skins mineral makeup. If you go to the counter they will give you a decent size sample bottle. Good luck, I know how frustrating dealing with this pregnancy skin.
