Recommend a good spray tan place!
Can anyone recommend a good spray tan place in Suffolk? TIA!
And those of you who have had it done how does it work? When should I have it done if a party I have is on a Sunday?

I know someone in Suffolk who does it out of her home and she is amazing. If you want her info FM me.
If the party is on Sunday I would recommend going Friday.

ITA. Just enough time for it to tone down a little bit. I go to Beach Bum in Queens for my spray tans, but they offer it at most of their locations. Call and check to make sure you can make an appointment on a Friday though- sometimes they only offer it certain days of the week. It's $35 for first time tanners and I think $45 after that.
Some other tips and tricks:
Shower and exfoliate before you go. Don't use any moisturizer or make-up or anything. Wear loose clothing- I usually wear sweats and one of DH's old t-shirts and a thong that I don't really care about staining. I don't usually wear a bra. Leave your modesty at the door- I get sprayed in nothing but a thong. Fortunately, I've become friendly with the spray tanning girl at my Beach Bum so she chats while she sprays my boobs. Haha! Also- don't be surprised but it's COLD. I mean ICE COLD. It's worth it though. Don't plan on doing anything directly after your spray- not even errands- you will look like swamp thing. You'll look way too dark and streaky right after the initial spraying, but you can rinse yourself 6 hours later in a warm shower (no soap, no scrubbing, not too hot) and then take a real shower 10- 12 hours later. I usually go after work and then head home after. I rinse before bed and take a full shower in the morning. HTH!
