MY DH does work donw there not sure where he stayed I think most places are are 3-4 stare down there>>.. I'll find out where he stayed if you would like

If you enjoy bed and breakfasts, my first choice is The President's Quarters
We've stayed at a few in Savannah and while they were all nice....this place far surpassed any of the others.
The second best would be The Dresser Palmer House
Also, be sure to grab a romantic dinner at The Olde Pink House and try the She-crab soup...mmmm, yummy! Also, lunch at Fiddler's Crab house is fantastic.
