Recommend a potty Please
Hi,
I know lots of you moms are going through the potty training phase and I wondered what type / brandy potty you are using and if your child likes it.
Do you need all the bells and whistles or will a plain potty just work as well?
Are there such things as liners for the pottys as my stomach just heaves at the thought of having to clean up after #2 has arrived...I am sure I will have to get over that pretty quick.
TIA

Just my opinion- after having 2 boys potty trained. Dont bother with the bells and whistles one that has stickers and music and all that. we NEVER used it. Its still here unused. they went straight to the small seat ring that you put onto your toilet seat.
but they started at about 2 1/2 just sitting with it and getting used to it.
if your child is just turning 2 or even younger than 2. maybe you should get the small potty to let them adjust to it. just the idea of sitting on a potty, etc.
my boys never took it seriously. never peed or pooped in it.
and I never had to transition. the toilet was the toilet and thats it.
it really depends on your situation. theres no right or wrong
ETA: 2 boys, not 3 potty trained, I must be REALLLY TIRED

Re: Recommend a potty Please
We have the small potty because she HATES the ring on the toilet. I don't even remember the brand, but it was the basic, no thrills one. She loves it. We've been leaving it out in the room with her so she can get used to it, and she sits on it all day saying "Peepee! Peepee!" But for purposes of immediacy, I really like having one right there.
