recommend a purple/lilac eyeshadow..
that doesnt turn white when u put it on and stays put!

I have a purple/lilac cheapie from Prestige. it is very sheer to I usually apply it with a wet q-tip for more coverage.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the purple quad from VS. (sadly, I flushed my old one down the toilet at work accidently   -must replace) that gave an AWESOME color and made my eyes POP like NO TOMORROW.
I have the Laura Mercier black plum eyeliner which I love and adds drama when used with these products.
it really brings out the green in mine eyes

I like the one you've had on before
also I highly recommend the mac shadestick in the lightest shade they have. I use it first and all my eyeshadows stay put all day.
You can try these
mac- beautiful iris
I also like revlon and loreal eyeshadows
