Caruso are steam curlers. I have those & like them.
I had hot rollers (Conair, I think) but they didn't work that well for my fine hair. I have better luck with the curling iron or steam curlers.
A lot of people do like them though., I think they are better for volume than curl, though.

Thank you!
I feel that when I use a curling iron my hair looks so stiff, I want a softer look. I'm going to try these.

I used to think this too, but have you tried shaking your hair out and running your fingers through it afterwards? And letting it settle a bit before going out?
The problem I've found with hot curlers is that it gives my hair volume but the curls don't last at all.

Re: Recommend- Hot rollers and a ?
i recently bought hot rollers and i am still learning. I first bought the hot tools pack. it have 5 rollers and it wasnt enough to cover my whole head and taking them out, reheating and covering more sections was a waste of time.
I returned those and bought the baby bliss ones. 20 rollers, varying sizes. My hair is layered so I thought this would be good.
i am still trying it out, but I have noticed that depending on when i use hair spray and how i break the curl affect the body and how long the curl lasts.
( i really over did it for x-mas at ILs house, I looked like a lion for an hour or so until the curls settled)

Re: Recommend- Hot rollers and a ?
The trick to any hot rollers or curling iron is to let the hair COOL off before taking them out.
When I use a curling iron, I'll roll up the hair and pin it.. then I do my make-up and if I have more time, I'll even get dressed and then I'll take it out..

ohhhhh!!! I am going to try this with the curling iron - do you use hair spray? and when? I tried the hot rollers last night. . . not sure if I like them, seems like they take a lot of time.
thanks

NP!
Yes, I use hairspray.. I use either matrix, big sexy hair or tresemme which is great (the one with the green lettering)...I spray it right after it's been taken out.. but not too much because it'll weigh the curl down.
