I have been using the iron-on labels from Stuck On You but lately not loving them so I think I might try Mabel's Labels.

If there's such a thing I'd love to know. When Mason was 3 months and just started everything was so nice and labeled. Even his extra clothes were cute.

Now, 14 months and half the labels are falling off or off totally, bibs I gave up and put his initials on them (they're cheap anyway), extra clothes are cleaned, but prob stains, and once he came home in some pants too small b/c I forgot to bring in clothes since he got bigger and wasn't getting as messy. LOL!

Just make sure the bottles are labeled. Food and snacks I put his name with the marker

I have the iron on labels from Mabels Labels. Honestly, I find that they fall off a lot of things. Not sure if there is user error involved or if they just don't stay on certain clothing items...

I use the mabels labels...not the iron-on, I think they are tagmates...they are tiny stickers and fit on the tag's of clothes, bibs...I have had a couple fall off, but a majority of them have lasted through the washer and dryer.

I use Mabel's but for bottles and sippys. For clothes I use a fabric marker

I am in the market for these also. My question though:

1) how many do you really need?

2) Do you put them on EVERY piece of clothing?

3) do you need the ones for shoes?

We use labels from Name Bubbles and love them! No problem washing etc. I use them on everything from clothing to bottles/sippys etc etc.

I never got labels....I just bought the washable permanent marker and wrote on the tag already in the clothing...

All good comments and recs.. looking into the Name Bubbles right now

I just hate forgetting to mark out her name when I donate the clothes. I don't like the way the marker can bleed through on some stuff to the side people see.

I think I may try some of those that go onto the tag itself. Otherwise I may just bite the bullet and go without again.

In one year's time she'll be in uniforms (if she stays at this place) so it 'may' be easier. She can actually wear uniforms now. Maybe THAT could be the anwser?

I try to send her with clothes that aren't special or hard to care for. Those that if they get stained its not the end of the world. But I figure she needs about 10 days worth of clothes for daycare and two sets of backups.

After that is mix and match time! haha

I had already marked her blankets, never thought about the shoes though, She takes no bottle, but I'll label the sippy cup, I think I'm gonna buy a lunch bag for her food (another misery). What else is there for a 2yr old ?

I use Mabels Labels. I think maybe one or two has fallen off in 2 years, but aside from that I've never had an issue.

I just ordered more for my DS who will be starting day care in September.
