We don't use a pediatric humidifier.
Just a regular vicks cool mist humidifier. Nothing special at all but does the job.

We have the vicks humidifier also..and our dr. gave us a nebulizer also if the vaporizer is not working well enough

We bought the Vicks humidfier when the one we had didn't do the job.
Actually, we kept it in our room to use bc it is so dry in our room, so we kinda stole it from DC.

We have the vicks coolmist, work well.
The only think I don't like is cleaning it, I hate that pinkish mold. It's easy to get off, I just don't like cleaning it every day when in use, but I think most humidifiers require it.

I have a Bionaire humidifier in her room.... I love it b/c I set the desired humidity, and it turns on and off. No mist at all, and it's perfect! I don't have to keep running up and down refilling it since it turns on and off intermittently.

I just recently bought the Crane Frog Humidifier - I love it!!! It really seems to help DD and it's pretty quiet!

Yeah, I love it.... and the other thing that's nice is that they say to reduce the chance of SIDS to have a fan running in the room.... under the grate on the picture on the top of the tower is the fan that moves the humidity around the room!
So there's her SIDS fan!
