Recommend your carpet/wood floor vendor
Hi everyone.
We're closing this week on our condo, and are going full steam ahead with renovations once we get the keys. We are looking to replace the carpets in 3 bedrooms/stairs and install wood floors in the living room.
We visited G. Fried and a place called Floor Decor in Rockville Centre.
Any other recommendations?

Floor Store in Farmingdale. They refinished my hard wood and installed carpet in 2 bedrooms, hallway and stairs. I have pics in my album.

I just had two great experiences... one at Lumber liquidators in Hauppauge for our laminates, but they have engineered wood and hardwoods and the other was for carpet at Empress Carpet in Carle Place.

we got our whole house re -carpeted by Carpet Depot.. they were excellent! the price,service, and work! i highly recomend them!!
they are in Levittown, and i think have other locations! they always have deals going on too!!

We got our carpet from Lowes for $199 installation. Now it is at $139.
I would HIGHLY recommend them, the contractors were very professional and did a wonderful job.

Village Carpet and Rug in West Hempstead. They did our bedrooms, and we just went back for an area rug. Great service, great selection, family-run store.
