Recommend your cat tree
Where did you get it? Sturdy? Easy to put together?

Re: Recommend your cat tree
We got ours from Petco about 2yrs ago.. it was already prebuilt... it was around $280... 6ft tall... VERY sturdy... solid wood and carpet covered...
Every petco i have been in, has them on display.. you can tell they are solid by the weight... and make sure the base in wider then the widest point of the tree itself.

I wish they weren't so expensive. My cats would love this.

We have had this one since 2008 and it has held up very well. We have also since disassembled it and split it into two separate units for each cat (since they cannot share).

Thanks! We are renting a house right now but will be moving to more permanent digs and it's good to have a review that includes how something disassembled.

this has moved with us too! The pieces basically just screw into each other.

Re: Recommend your cat tree
we have this one
We got it off craigslist and the person that sold it to us disassembled it and it was super easy to put back together with an Allen key.
I agree that you should make sure that your base is wider than the rest of the condo so its stable when your cat jumps on an off. My cat goes crazy and it has not tipped over yet.
