Recommend your favorite movie theater
Can you please recommend your favorite movie theater? My husband and I went to the movies near our new place and it was so dirty. I was feeling so skeevy.
Ideal theater would be clean and have large screens & spacious seats with plenty of leg room. When I went to college, we had seats where you could lift up the armrest. Has anyone seen a place like that?
We live in Western Nassau. But feel free to share theaters in other areas as well cause it may help others out :)

Bellmore Movie Theatre on bedford Ave, I think it is called Five Star, they have some seats were 2 people can sit together. I also like The Seaford theater on Merrick Rd in Seaford, and the Raceway one by the mall, and The Westbury one near BJ's. HTH

My favorite movie theater sadly is no longer open... The Beekman on 2nd Ave... the BEST place to see a movie. I still miss it!

ETA: I believe in both Farmingdale theaters you can lift up the arm rests.

I loved the old Northport theatre b/c movies used to be $2.00 there! But now, I like the Stadium one in Farmingdale. Big seats and good popcorn!
