Recommend your favorite non-department store brand foundation
I've been a huge fan of MAC for ages...was always using Studio Fix but now I think I want to go back to a liquid foundation. Now that I hardly have the time to go to the mall anymore, I'd love a substitute that I can just pick up at CVS or something.
Any recommendations? one that goes on evenly. and stays on? Not cake-y looking? TIA!

You can always order your MAC online if you know the color. I can only do that for my lip colors. Foundation is too risky for me.
Anyway, I also posted on parenting!

oh duh! I forgot about that!! Thinking of switching over to liquid though, so I imagine I'd need to go to a MAC counter or store. Which is a PITA with an almost 8 month old when they keep you waiting forever!

I looove Max Factor Facefiniti. I had heard somewhere that makeup artists use it...not exactly sure if thats true, but figured I'd give it a shot and I love it! Been using it for years.

It's a PITA to wait there even without an 8 month old! I'm getting so annoyed with that place--- at the Roosevelt Field location I stood there waiting like an idiot for 15 minutes, walking around like a lost dog. I felt like an idiot walking around trying to seek out help, when eventually I just put down the makeup samples and walked out 
I love their makeup, but their customer service stinks!
Sorry I don't have any drugstore recs, I currently use liquid foundation from Make Up For Ever from Sephora...... which is often just as bad as Mac, minus the loud obnoxious music
