I have had this for 4 years so far and still running strong....i saw the recent reviews and it sounds like they put the blade on wrong/cup on wrong....
I have had no issues with mine....use it ALL the time and Love it!
IMO not worth spending anymore....i was lucky enough to get it even less during targets seasonal clearance.
