Recommend your gas grill BBQ
We need a new one and while we aren't going to spend $700 for one (my BIL just got one that cost $700 - with a discount!) I would like a good quality grill. With my old one, cleaning the grills was a PITA, they never got as clean as I wanted. I'd want one that can easily accomodate food for at least 6 people on a regular basis.
Also, does anyone use the side burner ? I had one on my old one and I never really used it but it seems to be popular. What do you use it for?
If you could tell me what you like about it and how you clean it would be great. Thanks!

Weber grills are the best. You can't go wrong.

Another vote for Weber. They came out on top when I did my research. I don't see much need for the side burner unless you do lots of BBQ's where you'd want to also be cooking corn, lobster, etc. outside. Or if there's a hurricane and you're living off what you can cook on the grill. One thing I did find is that Weber has different variations within a model at different outlets. Home Depot had the cast iron grill where others had the stainless steel for the the same model. Our model generally had just one side flipup tray at most outlets, but True Value Hardware's version had the flip up tray on both sides and that was what sold us on getting it there - extra "counter" space was a plus. I was told to avoid the cast iron grill tops as they rust alot - the stainless is preferable and you can also buy replacments for all those parts if you want to.

We have a Sears that is now that is going on its 6th season. We replaced the burners last year for under $100.00 and it's like brand new. We keep it out all year long with a cover on it.
We Love Sears for outdoor stuff, high quality and easy access to replacement parts.
