Recommend your home hair dye?

I wrote a whole post about my first experience dyeing my own hair - I loved L'Oreal Superior Preference. It was much gentler than the dye at the salon and I really liked the results and I would highly recommend it.

I use Loreal Feria.. they have a oil that you put into the dye that doesn't make it smell harsh and it's always better to apply hair dye to dirty hair so it doesn't make your scalp itch or burn

I use Revlon ColorSilk. Four bucks a box and I think it works as good as L'oreal Preference.

L'Oreal Superior Preference or L'Oreal Natural Match. Both provide great results.

i use loreal grey busters, mixed with equal parts 20 vol. but in a pinch use over the counter as well, usually color silk..
def color on dirty hair. its wont burn the scalp as much
