Recommend your home printer?
I need a good printer for when I'm working at home. I find that I've had to come into the office on the weekend just to print things out. Mostly, I'll need it to quickly print in black & white up to 100 pages at a time. It would also need to scan things to PDF pretty quickly as well.
It would be great if it could do high quality color prints as well, but not necessary.
Any suggestions? TIA!

I use an HP officejet all in one printer and love mine. For what you're looking for you may want to get a laser printer since you'll be printing a large # of pages at once.

I use the HP photosmart C6180. Prints B&W for fast and scans well.
It's an all around all in one with fax capabilities as well.

HP OfficeJet 7410
It scans, prints, faxes, copies all in color, has memory card slots and really awesome photo software integration.
Did I mention it has bluetooth and wireless? AWESOME

I would invest in a laser type printer.
Now, color, scanning will drive up the cost but you will see the investment in a month or two based on your printing habits.
HP hase some nice entry level all in one printers but only b/w, no color printing.
Once i went laser, i never went back to back to inkjet...Catridges go so quick while laser are more effiencet and last much longer...

To those who recommended a laser printer - is there a particular brand that's good?

HP laser printer. LOOOOOVE it! iths the laserjet 1000 series. It's just the printer, but we have a canon scanner, too.

HP Officejet 7310 all in one. Great b/c you can even insert a memory card from digital camera. Good quality pics, does it all. Highly recommend.

I have the 7310 and it has the same features except the blue tooth and wireless. And I love it too.
