Recommend your lightweight stroller please

DH and I are going to get our lightweight stroller this weekend since we have the 15% off at BRU. I love the Maclaren Techno BUT I don't love that the viewer at the top doesn't have a flap to go over it. I know no babies need a ton of sun but my lily white mini-me cannot tolerate it for more than a few minutes without getting burned (despite the SPF protection they claim is in the plastic).

Worst case scenario I know I can just get the sunshade to go over the entire top but at $350 I would kind of like the stroller to come with everything I need.

Any rec's?

TIA

i have the Perego Pliko and love it but its not that light - lugging it up/down flight of stairs is a beyotch!!! but getting it in and out of a car trunk isnt too bad... dont know if this helps. i think the Maclarens are lighter

Re: Recommend your lightweight stroller please

I like my Peg Perego Pliko also, for the most part. I don't like the basket too much and the recline feature annoys me, but it is lightweight and is good on pavement. I had it on the boardwalk at the beach today and it was great there too.

I find it easy to get in and out of the car and not too bad up and down the stairs at home (but I generally leave it in the car, we are on the 3rd floor of a walkup.) The only other con I can think of is that it is a little confusing for other people (even DH sometimes) to open and close it, but that might be the case for any stroller.
