recommend your OBGYN in Queens/Nassau
I love love love my OBGYN but I think I want to start looking for a new one for a couple of reasons...
1) I don't like the hospital in Queens that she is affiliated with, I'd rather go to Northshore Hosp. when the time comes
2) When I went to her bc I was miscarrying, her equipment was so old she didn't know if we weren't seeing anything bc I was having a miscarriage or bc her sonogram machine was so old fashioned it was too soon to see anything (I was 7 wks). I want a dr that has newer machines in their office
Can you girls recommend anyone? I prefer a female. I live in Whitestone/Flushing so anything in nassau is close by.
Thanks

I don't have any recs because I will also be on a search for a new OB after I get a BFP with my RE....... but I just wanted to say those are VERY valid reasons for finding a new dr.. especially #2!! I can't believe she continues to use such old equipment and admits to patients that they're old and thus nut sure if the person is miscarrying or not!! What a roller coaster that must have felt like!!

I'm in Whitestone and I've been going to North Shore Ob/Gyn for years now and loooove all the docs.
North Shore Obstetrics and Gynecology (Dr.s Christine Melgar, Richard Herzog, Gilad Greenber, Meir Greenberg and Randi Rothstein)
214-10 24th Ave. Bayside, NY 718-224-5800
They are located right across from Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

Thanks so much, you're the 2nd person to recommend them and bay terrace is 5 min away from me. I'm going to try them out next time I get a BFP, thanks again
