Recommendations for a salon/hair stylist in the Huntington Village area?
Hey girls! I was hoping someone would have a recommendation on a stylst or salon in the HV area. It's becoming too time consuming trekking into Roslyn to get my hair cut. 
I gave Ethan's of London a try a couple years back, but their chairs were so uncomfortable that I won't go back...so they're a no-go. 
Have any of you tried the Cactus Express? I figured I would give them a shot since they take walk-ins (I thought about going after my mani-pedi appt), but my sister said their stylists aren't very experienced and therefor not very good. It's not like I need a complicated haircut, so I figured how much damage could they do!?!

i always got my hair cut from ralph at sizzles - ann marie is good too
sizzle is located in the same shopping center as peticlar per - on 25a just east of park ave

It's not in the village, but on Jericho. For my last cut I went to Salon Lissome on a recommendation. Nancy cut my hair. She did a really good job and it was only $55.

I go to Domani on Woodbury Road. I have used Nicole and Dawn.

NV Salon on Jericho, I LOVE COURTNEY!!!!!!!!! Or Miriam Jackie is one of the owners and is an amazing colorist.

A friend of mine uses Cactus Express and is happy there. The same friend used to use the place on 25A near Elijah Churchills in the Bottle Bargains shopping center. (this is Northport, not Huntington Village though obviously.) I can't remember the name of the place.  I used to go there for waxing. I think she went to Richard there and was happy. This is annoying me that I can't remember the name.

Chrissy is really good here. Although she only works 2 days a week and I'm not sure which days.
She does awesome color & cut

NV Hair Salon on Jericho Tpke. I used to go to Lauren or Christina for color and either Courtney or April for hair cuts. Haven't been there in awhile though, too far for me.
I loved the way all of them did my hair.
