Recreational type programs for disabled persons...Any rec's??

My brother is 32 and is DD..He lives with us..He belongs to a travel program for disabled adults, however since it is mainly volunteer ran, it is starting to fizzle out a bit Chat Icon

Does anyone know of any recreational type programs in Suffolk County that I could get him involved with ?? A bowling league or something similar would even be awesome...

In the meantime I am going to check with his supported employment but figured I'd give a shot her also Chat Icon

it may be too far from brookhaven, but i believe the jcc in the greater 5 towns (hewlit, woodmere, cederhurst etc) has an adult rec program as well.

Stace,

Ariel's camp is run through the JCC. The Suffolk County JCC is in Commack. I know they have a ton of programs for teenagers and young adults..Im sure they have things for adults too...

Remind me and I'll put in a call to the woman I speak too...
