Rec's For a QUIET restaurant
Prefer Nassau County
I am looking for a quiet restaurant on a Friday night, the person going can't hear in those loud type restaurants...
Does anyone off the top of their head know of anywhere quiet where someone who is 90 would be able to hear us?
I am not opposed to western suffolk either

Barney's in Locust Valley is quiet, there tends to be an older crowd.
Honestly I have found the maitre'd a bit rude-- he seems to only care about his "regulars", but overall the food and ambience are very good, we've eaten there a few times. Good wines too.

Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn is popular with the older crowed and seems pretty quiet- good food too!
Maybe Mims in Roslyn as well.
