what color shoes? can I wear black shoes or do they have to be red?

black does not go with everything! especially not a red dress, unless there is black in the dress. definitely wear silver or gold

exactly! black shoes with a red dress is a no-no in my book. gold or silver.

See, I was talking about this with a friend the other day. Banana has a gorgeous knee-length red wool dress and I have beautiful black satin peep-toe heels and I think this would look beautiful. To each her own.

I agree with you on this. For some reason black shoes with red wool totally makes sense to me... but I'm not sure why!

I don't love gold or silver w/red, but that is just me. but I said strappy b/c I think a big hunk of black would not look so good, but if they are strappy I think they will look fine.
