red eye reduction in dog pictures?
Does anyone have any nifty tricks to get the red eye out of the pictures of my dog? The regular red eye remover doesn't work. TIA

No idea. My dogs' "red eye" often looks green or yellow, so I know what you mean. Maybe if you have a photo editor like Elements or something you could manually change it to black?

On line or in print?? I have a special pen from the scrapbook store that's specifically for pets. There is one pen for people and a different one for pets. Not sure if this helps.

Re: red eye reduction in dog pictures?
Do you use Photoshop? Here's what I do:
Zoom in on the eyes Use the magic wand tool to select both pupils at the same time Use the paintbucket tool to change the color Pick a color that is NOT straight black, but more grayish. Sometimes I use the eyedropper to pick a dark color from the picture itself. Paint the pupils with that color Use the contrast/brightness tool to lower the contrast and brightness Use the blur tool to blur the edges of the pupil
It sounds like a lot, right? But if I have a picture I really love, I'll do it all. That's how I made my avatar - his pupils were an eerie green in that pic.
