Rednose Pit In Need of a Good Home

I'm posting this on behalf of my co-worker. Missy is a 5 year old rednose pitbull. She's unaltered, but never mated. Very sweet, good with kids and small dogs- not sure about cats. She grew up with a married couple with kids. One of the owners recently passed away. The wife has been trying to keep the dog, but feels she can't keep up with her. She's a real sweetheart and very mellow. Please FM me if you'd like any more information. Located in Brooklyn.

Has she tried contacting any of the rescue groups around here? Like FurBabies? They might be able to get the word out there for a foster at least.

FM me if you want more names of groups!!

They're trying to avoid rescue groups. They want her to go to her forever home. The dog meant a lot to the owner who passed and they are using rescues as a last resort. I have names though, thanks!

Just an FYI: A lot of rescues and shelters will do "courtesy postings." They don't take the dog, but they will post on Pet Finder and network to help find a home. Some of them will even help with the adoption process to ensure that the dog does go to a good and loving home.

Whatever they decide to do, best of luck to them!!! Chat Icon
