reenactment poll
When you're watching a crime show that's based on something real (American Justice, The Detectives, Cold Justice, etc) - how do you feel about reenactments?
Personally, I hate them. They're always over the top and it ruins the flow for me b/c it feels cheesy. That's why one of my favorite shows was American Justice - they only used real footage and interviews.

reenactment poll
I just always wonder why the acting is so bad. I mean, is there some sort of reenactment actors union or something? Can only hire from this pool of really bad actors whose talent falls somewhere between that of the woman playing a secretary in a porn movie and the first person killed in a zombie movie?

Forsenic Files used to show pictures of the people involved and on more than one occasion they were fake. If you googled the people profiled in the case a completely different person would come up. Why bother?
