Refund on credit card
I wrongfully got charged for a full month of parking at a garage. On Monday they said they'd refund the amount back into my card, but it hasn't shown up yet. How much time would you give it before calling again? I know refunds can take a few days but I have a feeling this won't get done unless I make a stink.
Funny how charges on your card go through right away, but refunds seem to take forever

A refund shouldn't take any longer to post to your card than any other transaction. So, I'd say 48 hours. If it's not there by now, I'd call them bc they didn't do it.

They can take between 3-5 business days to credit back to your card.

Dispute the charge directly with the credit card.

Where I work we have been advised that it can take up to 30 days for a refund to post to an account and that it depends on the issuing bank. Generally it takes up to 5 days though. Disputing the charge causes an additional expense for the company and that causes increase in prices. I would not do that until you absolutely have to.
