refusing the bottle (not wanting the same amount of formula)
DS is starting to push away his bottle before he has finished it...
a few things are going on... he has 2 or 3 teething coming in and I have increased from 2 to 3 meals a day.
It is common to refuse a bottle while teething? Will he want to get rid of the bottle all together??
When can I get rid of the bottle? (he is 9 months)
Adding: I just decreased the total amount of formula a day from 35 to 30 oz

it is definately normal to decrease while teething.
I don't now when you are supposed to stop the bottle. I think when your baby is ready. I would say around a year.

Totally normal, even breastfed babies can go on a "nursing strike" while teething. It hurts their poor little mouths to suck. It could also be a sign of an ear infection, I'd have the Dr check.
