Refusing to sit in high chair
DS did this last night and this morning. Has anyone else been through this? What do I do?

My kids have done this. In my house, if you don't sit in the high chair to eat, you simply do not eat. It usually doesn't last long unless they are not hungry. lol

I would still try and continue with putting him in there.
Ali just started this a couple of weeks ago.
We kept trying to put her in there, a few times she went in others she didn't
We'll now she sits in either her booster chair or in the chair itself, and now it is working for us

I don't have this problem (yet  ) but I would try to offer him another seat at the table, either in a regular chair or booster seat. tell him that we all sit at thetable to eat and if he doesn't want to sit down, then he can not eat. He may like having options because h'll feel like he's in control even though you're getting your way by having him sit at the table.

I had this problem too so I went out and brought Michael a booster seat so that he can sit closer to the table and he loves it.

same here. I gave up trying to keep him in it. Actually now he just sits on a reg chair and eats but he used to sit in the booster at the table.

max has been like standing up in it since 10 months...very scary..
hence the question---why is there no 5 point harness for any baby thing?ex:chair...swing....etc...
would make life alot simplier
