My older DD is 2 and I NEVER even knew when she was cutting a tooth...I swear! She got her first tooth at 12 months. Maybe because it was such a long process, it went more smoothly, I don't know? Hopefully, I'll get that lucky this time!

My DS did. Never had an issue at all. His teeth came in and he never said a peep. My DD is the same, almost! She's had a few cranky times lately with her canines coming in.

I've heard of these mystical creatures called "good teethers"Chat Icon Unfortunately, mine is not one of them. But honestly I've had more moms say to me that their kids weren't really bothered by their teeth coming in than the opposite.

Kaitee is/was a great teether. I never knew when she was getting teeth until they came in. She had 14 teeth by 1 year and she never had a problem with them. Although she has been REALLY grumpy lately and she just cut tooth #15 and #16 is about to cut through. For some reason these 2 teeth really bugged her. I am hoping the last few teeth she will get won't bug her too much.

My DS only has 4 teeth, but they didn't seem to bother him.

DD is a GREAT teether....gnaws on her fingers and woke sometimes at night, but that was it. No crying, no screaming. Teething tablets or motrin worked fine!

Marron has been GREAT with it. Most of the time I wouldn't even know she was getting teeth except for some diarrhea or an occasional night waking. In fact, she just got 4 molars and I didn't even know until she laughed one day and I saw them back there!!

Ella's a good teether, though she still only has 7 (at 14.5 months).

I don't know she's cutting them until I can see them.

Emma was a good.
I swear - she would wake up one day and just have all these new teeth - I started to ask her to say ahhh, so I could look around her mouth and keep track. Chat Icon

We'll see how DD #2 does. Chat Icon

DD really did well except for her canines ( or so I think that's what it was). I often wonder if I attribute things to teething that aren't. Sometimes I have no clue so I just say that's what it is. But based on some of the stories I have read she hasn't been that bad when it comes to teething.

Same here. But she never got up during the night or any of that. Just had a few cranky days.

Same here, my sons teeth just came in, not a yell, not a holler, nothing! My mother said I was the same.
