Regarding the special passes at amusement parks..
Do you think that Ava would qualify for this??
I never knew it existed until I saw the post. We are going to Disney in September, and the thought of having to wait in lines with her makes me cringe, but I really want her to see and do as much as possible.
I told my Mom about it, and she said not to request it, that it is probably for children with severe disabilites.
Based on what I have shared about her, do you think I could request it?

Get a Dr's note. Just being able to avoid a 2 hour wait in line is so worth it.

Go for it! You don't even need a note. But, you should know at WDW the wait time isn't *always* shorter, it's just that you will most likely wait in an alternate area. Here is the information on it

Go for it. My brother was 16 when my parents went with him to Disney and he is high functioning autistic and they still got it. They wound up using it for one of the rides. It can't hurt to have!

i actually just booked Disney yesterday!! my son has pdd and i asked them about the special pass and all you have to do is say you have a special needs child...no questions asked.
